The role

Microsoft Dynamics AX Developer, Glasgow, Lanarkshire. Glasgow based Microsoft Gold Partner requires a Microsoft Dynamics AX developer to play an integral part in shaping an existing team, working closely with business consultants to develop quality solutions to meet customers’ specific requirements.

As a Microsoft Dynamics AX developer working in a cutting edge technology environment based in Glasgow, Lanarkshire you will be tasked with developing (code and design) functionally rich and error free software applications in the Dynamics AX environment. Liaising with business application consultants to make recommendations, design, specify and develop best practice efficient bespoke applications as well as developing (code and design) seamlessly integrated applications.

Microsoft Dynamics developers working for this Lanarkshire based Microsoft Gold Partner will be expected to keep abreast of the latest software development techniques, introduce the best development procedures as well as being able to identify and understand internal and external customer development needs.

Candidate requirements

We are looking to speak with talented Microsoft Dynamics AX developers who are Glasgow or Lanarkshire based, those living within a commutable distance from Glasgow or those who are willing to relocate to Glasgow in order progress there career. As a Microsoft Dynamics AX developer you will be able to demonstrate the following technical skills:

• Operational knowledge of X++ • Working knowledge of SQL Server 2000/2005 • Working knowledge of SQL 2005 Reporting Services • Operational knowledge of T_SQL(Stored Procedures/Triggers/Views) • Development experience with Version 3, 4 or 2009 Dynamics AX including development with X++ and MorphX. • Ideally some development experience with Version 4 of Dynamics AX and source safe. • Ideally Microsoft Axapta Programming Certification • Experience developing in an ERP environment • Proficient in Object Orientated Best Practice Methodology
