The role

Structural Engineer, Aberdeen. Structural Engineer required by multi national energy company work in Aberdeen. Structural Engineer required to join an international player within the oil & gas industry sector base out of their Aberdeen office. As a structural engineer working in Aberdeen will be able to demonstrate sound knowledge of structural engineering principles and the ability to reflect these in various engineering projects from concept to detailed design. Structural Engineers based in Aberdeen will be expected to have sound Knowledge & practical application of some or all of the following engineering topics: Greenfield & Brownfield Topsides modifications, use of STAAD analysis package and current engineering design codes including AISC.

As a structural engineering working in Aberdeen will be a skilled engineer in offshore Oil & Gas projects and having an awareness of the petrochemical industry. Candidate requirements

Education/Qualifications: • Degree or equivalent in a Structural engineering discipline. • Chartered.

Specific Training / Specialist Skills: • Sound knowledge of structural engineering principles and the ability to reflect these in various engineering projects from concept to detailed design. • Knowledge & practical application of some or all of the following engineering topics: Greenfield & • Brownfield Topsides modifications / use of STAAD analysis package. • Current engineering design codes including AISC.
